Start by signing up through the Nanny Registration page. Here, you’ll create your account and begin your journey with Village Childcare.
Profile Setup
Complete your profile with information about your experience, skills, certifications, and personality. This is your chance to show parents who you are and what you can offer!
Background Check
As part of our commitment to safety, all nannies are required to undergo a background check. We’ll guide you through this process once you’ve registered.
Drug Testing & Certification
We also require drug testing and CPR/first aid certification to ensure the highest standard of care. You can upload existing certifications or access resources to complete these.
Explore Job Opportunities
Browse Jobs
Once your profile is set up, you can explore job postings from families looking for nannies. Our job board allows you to filter by location, age group, schedule, and specific needs.
Apply to Jobs
When you find a position that fits your skills and availability, submit an application directly through the platform. Your profile and resume will be shared with the family for their review.
Message & Connect with Families
In-Platform Messaging
After applying to a position, you’ll have access to our messaging feature to chat with families, ask questions, and schedule interviews. This helps you connect on a personal level and discuss details before making any commitments.
Interview Preparation
We encourage you to prepare for virtual or in-person interviews by reviewing each family’s needs and thinking about questions you may have. We also offer resources to help you make a great impression!

Access Lesson Plans
As a Village Childcare nanny, you’ll have access to a library of pre-planned, educational lesson plans tailored to different age groups. You can download or print these directly to incorporate into your daily routine with the children.
